Being a Part of the Irvington Community

Parents are required to help in the classroom on a rotating basis as assigned on the monthly calendar, the frequency of which depends on how many days a week your child is in the classroom. Each family will also have a job that helps the school and provides a unique way to get to know other parents.  Parents will have an opportunity to rank preferences for committee assignments before the school year starts. Families are required to attend at least 3 General Meetings during the school year.

Additional Information & Responsibilities

  • $250 per student fundraising goal per year.

  • $40-$100 (depending on number of days/week enrolled) supply fee.

  • Background check completed for any adult volunteering in the classroom.
